"I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed's comment of the moment:

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

Weekend Wonders - Saturday Afternoon/Evening

Now - Saturday afternoon turned out to be a little bit of fun. Creed has needed a "bike" to ride for quite some time. We have a tricycle Kady used, but it is broken. Creed can sit and ride while we push - but what is the point to that. So - after researching tricycles, we went and got him his first "bike" as he calls it. We found it in the store and it was folded up with zip ties. Well, that won't do. If it is too small or too big - we need to know before we spend the money - right. So - after ripping the zip ties off (GASP) (Don't worry - we asked, after Chris did it!!) - we found that this wonderful tricycle was the perfect size for Creed and he agreed. He agreed so much that he rode the tricycle through the store to the checkout - through the checkout and daddy knew a fit was to ensue if he did not ride it out to the car. Now - we aren't awful parents - so Chris picked him up - trike and all - and carried him on it out to the van. Then - when it was time to get in the car seat and take the very short trip home - the fit came out. Chris even had the bike sitting right next to Creed in the van where he could reach out and touch it - but NO all we heard on the ride home was BIKE, BIKE, BIKE.
So - we get home, we are all so excited. We take the tags off, we take the little ribbons off of the end of the handlebars (Creed preferred no ribbons and this made daddy extremely happy)

Kady gets her bike out - we get out on the road (we live on a dead-end street) - Creed decides trying to push the pedals is just too much and he is done. He gets off the tricycle and wonders into the neighbors yard. We try again - and again - no riding. So it is like 100 degrees - Ok, 87 but it feels like 100 -so after a while I say lets go in. And THEN Creed wants to ride his bike!!!

Oh - I am getting paybacks and my mom and dad are smiling every time!!
