"I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed's comment of the moment:

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

In a Land Far, Far Away

The daycare kids made some pictures for Chris' cousin's husband who is in Iraq. (and his name is Chris too - so this could get confusing) I set the kids down before we did the pictures and explained that "Chris" (not my Chris, cousin Chris) was in Iraq and helping to keep us safe. I explained that Iraq was far, far away and that he was away from his family and friends. Kady and Creed have seen pictures of "Chris' kids" on their blog - so they really wanted to make him pictures to "make him happy". Well, everyone started drawing and Kady asked me what all the planet's names were. I was a little confused and asked her to explain why she wanted to know that. She told me she was drawing space and needed to put the planets in the right order with "that place Chris is". I guess her imagination took a hold when I was describing the "Iraq situation" and she thinks that Iraq is in space. (I did say it was far, far away!) I didn't even bother to correct her at the time - it was too cute. I will set her straight another time.

That is so cute! Sometimes I feel like Iraq is somewhere in space at times too! =) Thanks so much for thinking of Chris - I know he'll be excited to see the pictures!
