Sometimes we don't know where the school clothes will come from - and a friend drops by with a bag of clothes with three pair of much needed shorts in them.
Sometimes we don't know how we can afford to get a pair of jeans for vacation - and a friend drops by with a bag of jeans and one pair fits!
Sometimes we don't know how we will afford school lunch money - and your son decides that he no longer wears diapers the month before.
Sometimes God's plans aren't are plans - but we come home to a nice house, a job, two working vehicles (for the time being), friends, and neighbors.
Sometimes were tempted to leap before looking and God stops us and reminds us of "the bigger picture".
God promised us that he will supply our needs, not our wants. I want ALOT of things. But right now - I have all I need. I have a wonderful husband, two terrific children, a job, and friends that go above and beyond the call of duty. And, the next time a need arises, I know as the song says - "When I call on Jesus, all things are possible. I can mount on wings like eagles' and soar. And when I call on Jesus, mountains are going to fall. Cause He'll move heaven and earth to, come rescue me when I call."
