The Verdict - for now

Creed did really well today. He was a little wild and crazy by the third hour of being cooped up in the Dr. office (not to mention hungry) but overall he was pretty good. They did both scratch tests and blood tests on him. With the scratch test, at his age, not everything will show as positive even if he is allergic to it. However, they did decide to do it anyway. We found that he is allergic to some household irritants like molds and cats, etc but the big one is they found he IS allergic to peanuts - which was our fear. So - they did some blood tests to see where his levels are with egg and with peanut. Basically, we are getting a baseline number for the peanuts at this point and are going to see if the egg allergy levels have increased (most likely not) or decreased since he was tested a year ago. So, we are back on the allergy medication - YEAH!! and we now have an epi-pen that we will carry with us just for safety measures. We will find out a little more regarding the severity of his allergies when the blood test results come back at the end of the week. Thanks for all the prayers. Creed did SO well for the scratch testing and I know it is a result of many prayers going up for my little guy. I am off to bed. The day started rather early around here and I need my beauty sleep - HA!
