We went rollerskating this weekend. It is SO cold and we needed to get a little energy out. We were all getting cabin fever. We'd already had friends over for a game night the night before, but we needed to GET OUT of the house and get a little exercise. So, rollerskating it was. Kady has "graduated" to the big kid skates and could no longer wear the fisher-price skates that fit over your shoes. So - we got her laced up and realized that this was going to be as hard for her as we thought. She couldn't even stand up. It was quite funny! But - she got out there and was determined to skate. She did GREAT. She fell, got back up and by the end of the two hours was skating on her own. She was wobbly - but she was skating. She was even determined to participate in the limbo contest. It was quite the site, but she eventually made it under the pole. Unfortunately, no pictures of that adventure - the camera was back in the bag. Just use your imagination. Here are some pictures that did get taken.
