"I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed's comment of the moment:

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

Colorado - Part 2

We took off one afternoon to do a little shopping with the kids. And when I say shopping, I mean we went to Toys R Us with birthday money. The kids did the shopping, we did the buying. As you can tell, G and G's van was well equipped with a DVD player. Thank God for modern technology!

The next morning we decided we would take the kids for a bike ride around the lake. We really didn't expect to make it all the way around, but we did. All 3.8 miles worth! The kids were awesome!

This was the normal view. Chris in the lead, Kady and Jonah close behind, and mommy and Creed taking up the rear. Creed needed a little help up some LARGE hills - but he did really well considering he is still on training wheels.

After a long ride, the kids still had energy to play on the playground.

OK - she is getting a little too daring for me!

One of the "purchases" Kady made a Toys R Us was a marble race. This was the contracptiom (Creed's version of contraption) the kids had built that morning.

And, since it was STILL raining, we decided that we would play a game of cards. Hit the Deck was the game of choice that afternoon.
