Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"



Creed's comment of the moment:



Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

Forever and Ever

Last night at dinner I asked Creed if he was going to live with me forever and ever. Of course, his 3 year old brain said yes right away. Then, I asked Kady. She pondered this and said diplomatically - "Well, I can't live with you forever and ever because I don't think we can live together in heaven". I told her I didn't know that either - but I was talking about here on earth. She thought for a few minutes and then said, "Well, I'll write to you if I don't live with you." She was trying SO hard to not hurt my feelings - but she was NOT going to live with me forever!
We also found out at our dinner conversation that Creed thinks mommy is nicer than daddy and Kady thinks daddy is nicer than mommy. We also found out that Creed thinks daddy spanks harder, but Kady thinks mommy spanks harder. (That says ALOT right there)
So - I guess when we want to know how our children really feel - we need to just give them some food, sit them down, and get them talking.
