"I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed's comment of the moment:

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

1st Christmas Celebration

We had MANY Christmas celebrations - so I thought it might be easiest to divide them up a bit.

Our first began a little early. We decided we wanted to give a little "thank you" to our many friends that have helped us with the children's program at church. So - we made up some "buckets" of cookies and treats to give to our friends and to our daycare families. It was SO much fun delivering our treats. The kids surprised us. After we delivered our first "bucket", we had planned to grab a bite to eat. But, our children didn't want to eat (which is VERY odd) but instead wanted to continue giving out the "buckets". They even had MANY "discussions" (read arguments) on who was going to get to carry the treats to the door. :) It was a great evening for all of us. But, it sure made it nice to see our children excited about GIVING to others - not just getting this year.

The next day we celebrated at daycare. We always have a fun time at daycare - but our Christmas party is one thing we look forward to all year.

Kady with her presents and her daycare friend that gave them to her.

Creed with his present and his friend who had given them to him.

Creed with his glasses all the daycare kids received. When you look through the glasses at the Christmas lights on the tree - you would see snowman sliding down the lights, or the gingerbread men, or the candy canes depending on which glasses you are looking through.

The daycare bunch.
