"I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Kady's comment of the moment:

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed's comment of the moment:

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

The Ice Catastrophe

Creed has been educated in the world of science this weekend. We found that Creed can be kept VERY busy and occupied with just a few pieces of ice, a cup, and a towel. He loves just pouring the ice out on the table, putting it back in the cup, and wiping up the water with the towel. Well, this was a FUN game until it was bath time. He did NOT want to leave that ice behind. So, I suggested we could bring the cup of ice with us to the bathtub. Remember, we normally bathe our children in HOT/WARM water so as adults we know that ice will eventually melt. Unfortunately - my 20 month old son was not aware of that. We got in the tub and all was good in the world. UNTIL the ice poured out of the cup and into the bath water. It lasted a few minutes and then - it was GONE!!! I told Creed that the ice had melted. He looked at me with that adorable smile and said "Ice Melt". He then looked at me with a pouty lip and sad smile and said "Ice Melt". Then - the tears flowed, the whole world crashed into our small bathtub and the scream came - "Ice Melt!!!!" Even mommy's explanation of the wonderful world of water did not help. He was not a happy camper!!! Soon, he was looking down the drain, outside of the tub and everywhere for his ice. Let's just say, bath time was cut short and a life lesson was learned.

Creed trying to get some more ice out of the freezer. We now need a lock on it as well!!!!

Creed playing with some ice.

Enjoying his bath time - before the "incident"

Looking for the ice down the drain.
