We are "calmly" trying to deal with some issues around here. The bearers of these issues will remain un-named, but they are 5 and 8 if that gives you any hints. We have decided that we are going to adopt the behavior jar. We have a large mason jar in our kitchen that is home to some "marbles". The above said jar has also inherited a horizontal line on it. The marbles must remain above this line or the un-named will be missing out on a few Christmas presents this year.
Let's just say - it has been pretty rough around here lately. The fighting, bickering, hitting (yes, they are hitting!!!), sassing, and lying has gotten the best of this mama. Nothing was working - so we are hoping "the jar" will help. The way things are going, our tree may be pretty bare underneath this year. We shall see!

We had accidentally purchased some "Medium" Salsa instead of "Mild". Kady was telling us how hot it was and then said, "I wonder what "LARGE" tastes like?!"

Creed jumping up and down with excitement yelling - "Yeah, I love Open House. Woo-Hoo!!" And then, without missing a beat, looks up at me and asks, "What is Open House, by the way."

If the tree is bare this year, you guys should take the money you would have spent on Christmas and take a vacation from all the bickering, lying, hitting, etc.
